There are all kinds of reasons why you might want a bit of extra help with whatever’s going on in your life.

You might be having problems at school or at home or be finding things difficult with your girlfriend or boyfriend.

It can be tough trying to sort out this kind of stuff by yourself. Talking to someone who isn’t involved is a good way of helping you figure out what you’d like to change.

What is Children and Young People’s Counselling?

Counselling gives you someone to talk to who can help you deal with whatever’s on your mind.

If it’s bullying, your parents splitting up, arguments with friends or you’re just feeling a bit low, we’re here to help you deal with it.

Some people think that counselling is just for people who have really serious problems, but it’s not. It’s just a chance to talk over what’s bothering you.

What happens in a Counselling session?

When you come in to see your counsellor, you’ll have a chance to talk about anything that’s on your mind. They won’t tell you what to do or talk down to you – they’ll just listen.

Anything you say to your counsellor is just between you and them – that’s a guarantee. Having someone outside of your home or school life can help you to see your problems in a new light and cope with any difficult feelings.

Don’t wait any longer; see how we can help.

It helped me talk about what was worrying me at school and helped me to start feeling better.
