We have just launched our exciting new project - "The Right Angle", funded by The Department of Education, which is designed to support children and young people in alternative provision.

We are looking for qualified children & young people's counsellors to provide counselling to the pupils in alternative provision, supporting them with their issues.

  • Interested in being part of a brand new pilot project

About the project:

We will be placing children & young people's counsellors in schools and communities to support children with issues they are facing. The child being supported will also receive private tutoring through our partner, The Tutor Trust. The aim of the pilot project is to deal with both the cause and symptoms of educational underachievement. TLC will also be offering the children and their families other support services, in a tailor-made therapy package.

The project is currently located across Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, Oldham and Rochdale.

You can read more about the project here.
