Are you interested in supporting a growing charity?
Do you have skills and experience in Media and PR?

We have a dedicated marketing and communications team who could use your support.

Our primary focus for the past few years has been getting the marketing basics right. In that time, we've also had to adjust to doubling in size! We are seeking professional support in developing our media and PR strategy to build on what we have already done. We are looking for someone to help us assess our strengths and weaknesses and help craft a realistic, but creative strategy we can action. We want to move to being proactive with media, rather than reactionary. This work will be key in helping us shape our 2025 vision of the charity, so has the potential for big impact!

This opportunity would require a professional who ideally has:

  • professional media and PR experience
  • an understanding of North West Media and PR landscape
  • time to donate to a charity

As we're just getting started, we would welcome interest from professionals who are experienced in the PR industry and have previously developed contacts and leads within the North West region. This is a fantastic opportunity to support us on a flexible basis and help us raise awareness about our work and charity mission. We estimate that it would be most beneficial to work face to face with the volunteer for a few days/afternoons here and there, over 6-9 months. However, depending on the candidates we will be flexible to their schedule and we're happy to liaise remotely.

As a volunteer, you would receive:

  • Support from an experienced and strategic leadership team
  • Reasonable expenses reimbursed
  • Location/time flexibility
  • Training where appropriate
  • References where appropriate from our Marketing Lead, signed off by our CEO
