We are currently recruiting for a Children & Young People's worker.
Are you the one people come to when they have a problem or need support? Do you believe people can change?
At TLC, we believe they can. And we’re recruiting.
We are looking for someone to support children and young people who find themselves using harmful behaviours towards others. You will work alongside an established, experienced and supportive team.
The Role:
This is your chance to support young people who find themselves using harmful behaviours towards others.
At TLC we believe everyone should be surrounded by safe, healthy, happy relationships in all areas of their lives. We work with the whole person and look at their potential.
What – me?
You don’t have to have a lengthy CV or years of experience in the field. We are more concerned about whether you share our passion and have the energy and drive to help us make this happen. We’ll provide comprehensive training and plenty of time to shadow and learn from our existing staff team.
We want to know you share our values and have transferable skills such as being:
- Able to gain young peoples’ trust and respect
- Confident in addressing negative behaviour
- Sensible and logical
- Able to recognise and manage risk
It will be challenging and you’ll need to be willing to learn fast. But the potential impact of this work is incredible.
Lives will be changed, hearts and minds transformed and futures rewritten.
