A course to help separated parents consider how the experience affects their children and find ways to support them.

Separation can be difficult, but how does this impact children?

This short course works with separated parents to see their separation through their children’s eyes.

The course is designed to help parents understand that whilst separation is difficult on them, it will also be difficult on their children. The course supports parents in exploring their situation, how they are feeling and brings the focus back to the needs of the children through the separation and beyond.

Whilst many parents who are going through a separation will be in dispute with one another, the course explains the importance of communication and how feelings and reactions to the separation can impact this and the children involved.

Working with other parents in similar situation really helped me feel less alone. The course was really useful.”
Karen, 27

This course offers the parents a safe place to learn what children require most when their parents are separating. The course also gives parents the opportunity to share their experiences and gain support from other parents who are going through different stages of their separating journey.
