We currently deliver the Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities course.
The course aims to help people strengthen their relationship with their children and be the best parents they can be.
People who attend the course say it has been really helpful to meet other parents from their local area and work things through together.
How does it help?
The course can help in lots of ways, for example:
- You might be having problems with discipline or setting rules or boundaries.
- You might want to learn to work better with your partner as co-parents.
- You might want to improve communication in your family generally.
The best way to find out if the course would be helpful is to get in touch with us.
What happens on the course?
The programme is designed to facilitate up to 15 parents at one time and runs for 3 hours a week for 13 sessions – however it doesn’t run in the school holidays! Each session is lead by two trained facilitators who can help and encourage you to explore any parenting issues you’re facing and discuss techniques and solutions that work for your parenting styles.
You can attend as a two-parent family, single parent, co-parents or you can bring another family member that helps to look after your children.
How much does it cost?
The course is currently free for parents living in Trafford. If you would like to attend a parenting course in Trafford, but do not live in the area, please call or email us to discuss arrangements and costs.
