It’s a wrap!

As our 2024 Pride season has come to a close, we look on all of the amazing memories of these summer months. While June marks the official Pride month, we were fortunate to extend our celebrations all the way through to August. This marks the second pride season that TLC have attended, and we are already eagerly looking forward to many more in the future.

Over the past three months we have had the privilege of attending multiple pride events, including Salford pride, Tameside Pride, Sparkle Weekend and Manchester Pride. We have loved every minute of it – even the hectic moments of setting up stalls in the unpredictable British weather, whether it was sunshine or downpours. To those moments of connection which have led to all the amazing conversations.

We have proudly represented TLC at four prides and have been proud to talk to you about what TLC provides and stands for. Each time we were met with a warm and positive reaction. Your support re-enforced how important our mission is for safe, healthy and happy relationships for everyone.

We were glad we got to engage with so many of you, discussing the wide range of services we offer and how they can support individuals and relationships in various stages and circumstances. But it wasn’t all about us – we were deeply moved by the stories you shared, your red flags and green flags in relationships, and what’s important to you.

As this chapter has come to a close, we would like to thank each and every one of you, for stopping by our stalls, giving us a wave in a parade, sharing a conversation with us and much more. We hope you enjoyed the pride celebrations, just as much as we did, we can’t wait to see you all next year.
