Accessible counselling for individuals, couples, and families.

We offer a range of counselling services designed to help you live a safe, healthy, and happy life.

What is counselling?

Counselling is a kind of talking therapy that provides a safe space for you to express your troubles and concerns. Counsellors help you articulate thoughts and feelings that you may find difficult to understand.  With counselling, you can find solutions to leading a safe, healthy and happy life.

What issues can you help with?

Anxiety, depression, loneliness, and isolation are some of the most common issues our counsellors help people work through. As a relationships charity, we also specialise in relationship and family problems, sexuality, and domestic abuse. We can support you with issues that involve trauma from loss and acute or chronic illnesses.

The work of our counsellors is not limited to these areas. You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong with you; counselling can help bring light to the causes of discomfort or negative feelings you may have.

“Just knowing I’ve got somebody to talk to each week who will listen has been so helpful, it has made a big difference. I always look forward to my sessions.”

How does it work?

We offer sessions of funded counselling to individuals and couples, including more specialist – sex therapy.

We offer an initial 50-minute phone or video consultation to discuss how we can best help you. We will then arrange a time and date suitable for you to start your sessions. Our sessions typically last 50 minutes. The number of sessions you require will depend on your circumstances, and on the funding available which covers any costs. Many people do not feel the need to continue after 10 sessions.
