TLC to deliver Drive Project in Cheshire and Lancashire

Our delivery of the Cheshire West service commences 1 April.

We are delighted to once again deliver the Drive Partnership’s flagship intervention for high-risk, high-harm perpetrators of domestic abuse.

We will be delivering the project in Cheshire (Warrington and Halton), Lancashire South, and Lancashire West.

The Drive Project is an intervention for high-risk, high-harm and serial perpetrators of domestic abuse. Its core mission is to stop cycles of abuse and increase the immediate and long-term safety of victim-survivors.

It does this by partnering with agencies and local perpetrator services to disrupt, challenge, and change the behaviour of abusers. It combines intense case management with coordinated, multi-agency and police-led responses to disrupt opportunities for abuse.

We’re proud to again work with the Drive Project, ensuring the safety of victim-survivors of serial abuse remains our top priority. We last delivered it in 2024.

We’re also pleased to be directly supporting the government’s renewed commitment to targeting dangerous perpetrators. The Home Office last year announced a multi-million pound investment into the Drive Project in order to better protect women and girls.

The Drive Project will run alongside our existing interventions for standard risk and early-stage perpetrators. We maintain that interventions must be delivered at all levels to effectively combat domestic abuse.

"We're proud to again be part of such a crucial service that we have the skills and expertise to deliver effectively. Research has proven that the Drive Project reduces abuse, reduces the risk of abuse, and reduces the number of repeat cases. Our staff are delighted to be helping increase the safety of women and children across Cheshire and Lancashire."
