It’s great to be part of a family, but there can also be challenges too.

If your family is finding things difficult at the moment, you can talk to a counsellor about what’s going on.

What is Family Counselling?

Family Counselling gives you a safe and confidential place to talk about things with someone who won’t take sides.

It can help with all kinds of issues, from things that have been going on for a while to problems that have been caused by recent changes.

What sort of issues can Family Counselling help with?

  • Better communication
  • Resolve differences and reduce arguments
  • Let every family member be heard and listened to
  • Support each other through difficult times
  • Cope with changes
  • Grow stronger as a family unit

What happens when I attend?

You will be seen by a dedicated member of our team at one of our offices. We work with some or all members of the family, including children, grandparents and wider family members.

Your counsellor will ask you about what’s going on and what you’d like to see change by coming to counselling. They will listen to each person in turn and make sure that everybody gets a chance to speak.

We know that every family is different so Family Counselling is very flexible. We can work with you to decide how often you and your family can attend.

What does it cost?

The average cost of a session is £50. However, we aim to support everybody who comes to us for help and can offer reduced rates if you’re unable to afford the full price.

Don’t wait any longer; see how we can help.

Our counsellor didn’t take sides and helped us have some really positive discussions.
