Supporting Salford young people to reduce harmful behaviour in their relationships.

In Salford, Greater Manchester, we work with a partner organisation to provide a range of support for young people who have been involved in situations of domestic abuse.

We work with young people who are displaying signs of using abuse and those who live in homes where abuse is taking place.

 

What is the programme?

For young people displaying signs of / using abuse in their relationships, TLC offer:

 

For young people who have witnessed or experienced domestic abuse, our partners Trafford Domestic Abuse Services (TDAS) offer:

  • Young Person’s Violence Advocate (YPVA) service
  • Children and Families Support Workers
  • Access to a range of peer support groups.

 

This work is suitable for young people aged 5-19.

We review young people aged 10-12 and 20-21 on a case-by-case basis.

Children and young people must be Salford residents to take part in this programme.
