Healthy Schools

Delivering holistic emotional wellbeing for children and their families through schools.

Funded by NHS Salford Integrated Care Partnership and Salford CVS.

Working in schools, we help children manage emotions, reduce distress, and prevent more serious issues from developing into adulthood.

Who we support

Our Healthy Schools Partnership Programme, in Salford,  delivers holistic emotional wellbeing for children and their families. Including working with teachers within the Primary Schools to strengthen their understanding of their classes mental health and wellbeing.

With many pupils facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges, our whole-family approach fosters resilience, healthier coping skills, and stronger school communities.

The importance of this programme

By age 15, one in nine children faces
a mental health issue. These challenges can escalate without support, affecting wellbeing, education, and future opportunities. This is why early intervention is crucial.

“I didn’t think I would get anything out of the sessions, but it’s really helped me to think about things differently’’
